September was a busy month for the Flying Lady! Once we returned to our slip at Guanabanas Restaurant the Flying Lady Boat Tours were hot as ever.
We did lot of sandbar tours this month with amazing weather. The sandbar we visit (at marker 44 on the Intracoastal) is the perfect place to enjoy a day on (and in) the water. No matter what the tide, we can beach out boat and provide the perfect access to the clear, warm waters so many people come to South Florida to enjoy.
This month we saw a few more manatee than the previous month and expect to see even more as the fall and winter season approaches. From time to time we are seeing bigger groups of manatee (called an aggregate).
Recently there was a video of manatee that caught our eye. We see them all the time and sometimes they “spook” easily. It’s hard to explain what happens when a manatee “puts on the afterburners”, but this video does a great job of showing what happens. Here’s the video:
Our most requested boat tour, the Jupiter Lighthouse Inlet Boat Tour, continues to be a top request and we have many more on the books for October.
As usual, we did a bunch of Jupiter Sunset Boat Tours, but this month many groups opted to include our narrated Historic Jupiter Island Tour instead of heading up the Loxahatchee River. This is a great option to get the history tour while enjoying the sunset.
As with all of our tours, the option is yours. We will help guide you in the right direction, but the time, boat and captain are yours so you make the call. We can customize our tours any way you desire.
We look forward to providing you with the best boat tour in Jupiter. Take a look at our reviews! We are the best rated boat tour in Jupiter! Call us for reservations, or use our convenient online boat tour booking form.
